Covid Guidelines for Hebrew School

The safety of our students, their families and our Hebrew School staff is of utmost importance. The following current protocols will be implemented during Hebrew School. We will continually reassess these guidelines as appropriate and as guided by healthcare professionals

  • Classes will be kept small

  • Students will be seated distanced from each other.

  • Temperature checks will be taken at drop-off. Any student with an elevated temperature will be sent home.

  • Children will be required to use hand sanitzer throughout the program

  • All teachers and staff will be required to wear face coverings.

Sick Policy:

  • Keep your child home if they are showing any signs or symptoms of illness.

  • Children must be symptom free (without the aid of a fever reducing medication) for 72 hours.

  • If your child has an excessive and unusual runny nose, cough or sneeze, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, loss of taste or smell, or any other symptoms typical of COVID-19, the student will be separated from the group until they can be picked up by a parent or guardian.

  • The success of in person Hebrew School depends upon all families openly and honestly communicating whether anyone in their home has tested positive or even has any related symptoms.

  • With everyone following all the necessary proactive precautions, we are confident that your child will have an amazing, educational and exciting year at Chabad Hebrew School.
